I’m not a runner, never have been. Not for speed or distance. My January read was Never Finished by David Goggins. I read his first book a couple of years ago and knew that this one would be the truth too. I was right about that. This time around, Goggins tells stories that include him running hundreds, if not thousands of miles on broken bones, knee surgeries and after heart operations, overcoming all kinds of adversity. Truly pushing himself to the limit. These are not goals of mine, but I did like the idea of challenging myself to do something that doesn’t come easy to me. I finished the book on the morning of 1/31 and went straight to the gym.
